All residents and guests on sim are expected to abide by our covenant at all times. We are a PG family-friendly community, and these guidelines help maintain a healthy and enjoyable environment for all.

The Willow Falls Covenant

A Shared Agreement for a Safe and Welcoming Community

By participating in Willow Falls, whether as a resident, role-player, business owner, or visitor, you are agreeing to uphold the spirit and standards outlined below. This covenant exists to protect the culture we are intentionally building together.

Willow Falls is a cozy, contemporary Pacific Northwest roleplay community built on warmth, realism, and belonging. This covenant exists to protect our culture, maintain immersion, and ensure every resident feels safe and welcome.

Management reserves the right to update this covenant as the community grows.

Community Conduct

• Kindness and respect are mandatory.

• Harassment, bullying, discrimination, or targeted behavior will not be tolerated.

• Public chat must remain family-appropriate.

• Adult topics belong in private IMs or Discord.

• Political and religious debates in public areas are discouraged.

• Respect privacy — do not enter homes or private parcels without invitation.

• IC conflict must never become OOC hostility.

If you are ever unsure, choose the option that protects someone else’s comfort.

Roleplay Standards

Willow Falls is grounded in contemporary realism with a soft, cozy Pacific Northwest tone.

• Public spaces are considered in-character (IC) unless clearly marked otherwise.

• Use ((double parentheses)) for OOC in local chat.

• Keep OOC chatter minimal during active scenes.

Consent & Boundaries

• No god-modding or forcing outcomes.

• Conflict roleplay requires consent when it involves violence, trauma, or high-impact events.

• Crime = consequences.

Participation in roleplay is optional — except when your character initiates an action that affects others. If you create the storyline, you are expected to see it through responsibly.

Opting out of scenes is always allowed for comfort, but not to avoid consequences.

-LIMITED FANTASY POLICY-

Willow Falls allows subtle, lore-friendly fantasy elements that do not disrupt realism.

• Management must approve all fantasy avatars or abilities.

• No visible wings, glowing effects, or exaggerated powers in public.

• No talking animals in local chat.

• No supernatural combat or abilities affecting others without consent.

Fantasy must blend quietly into the town — not dominate it. Management may deny or revoke fantasy approvals at any time.

-NON-COMBAT POLICY-

Willow Falls is a non-combat community.

• No combat HUDs (ZCS, CCS, Bloodlines, etc.).

• No public fight scenes. • No weapon-based combat systems.

• Violent scenes require prior OOC consent and must remain realistic.

Repeated violations may result in removal from the sim.

Driving & Realism Driving is always in-character.

• Realistic vehicles only(no fantasy or futuristic vehicles).

• Traffic violations, accidents, or reckless behavior carry IC consequences.

• Licenses are required for residents.

• Management may return disruptive or excessively scripted vehicles.

By driving in Willow Falls, you agree to roleplay realistic outcomes.

Seasons & Aesthetic

Willow Falls transforms with the seasons.

Landscaping, trees, sidewalks, and environmental settings may change to reflect seasonal updates.

Residents are encouraged to decorate seasonally while maintaining community cohesion.

We are inspired by the Pacific Northwest — grounded, cozy, and realistic.

Residential & Parcel Guidelines

• Respect parcel boundaries and neighboring homes. • Keep all objects and builds within your parcel.

• Stay within your assigned prim allowance. • Structural or major landscaping changes require approval.

• Landscaping must align with Willow Falls’ Pacific Northwest aesthetic.

• Pools can be added at request if your lot permits one.

• Transfers may be approved at management discretion.

• Rooftop items limited to seasonal decor.

• No Skyboxes/platforms.

• Abandoned rentals may be reclaimed after notice.

We encourage personalization — Willow Falls should feel like home — while maintaining the integrity of the town aesthetic.

Prim & Object Policy

• Residents must remain within their assigned prim limit at all times.

• Management may perform periodic prim checks.

• Excessive script use may result in object return without notice.

• Breedables are limited to 3 or less and count toward your prim limit.

• Self-replicating objects are prohibited.

Failure to reduce prims after notice may result in object return or rental action.

Abandonment Policy

A rental may be considered abandoned if:

• Rent expires without renewal.

• The resident leaves the Willow Falls group.

• The parcel remains unused (minimal prim usage, no activity) for 14+ days

• Communication has not been made with Management

Grace Periods:

• Cabin Residents: 24 hours • New Residents: 72 hours

• Established Residents (3+ months): Up to 120 hours After grace period expiration, the parcel may be reclaimed without refund.

Communication protects your rental. Silence does not.

Rental & Refund Policy Refunds are issued only if:

• The sim closes

• Management removes the rental for structural reasons

Refunds are NOT issued if:

• You voluntarily leave

• You are removed for rule violations

• You are banned

Leaving Willow Falls forfeits remaining rental time.

Communication protects your space. If you need a grace period, talk to us.

Leadership Structure

Willow Falls is led by its Founders and a Council.

• Founders steward the long-term vision of Willow Falls.

• Council members support operations, departments, and resident wellbeing.

• Department Heads oversee their respective areas.

Concerns should be brought to your Department Head first, then Council, then Founders if needed.

Leadership exists to serve the community — not to sit above it.

Growth & Culture Protection

As Willow Falls grows, this covenant may evolve.

Updates will always prioritize:

• Emotional safety

• Fairness

• Inclusion

• Community integrity

Management reserves the right to intervene when behavior threatens the culture of Willow Falls.

This is not about power.

It is about protection.
